This document represents the PhotoRobot Terms of Service: Version 1.0 — PhotoRobot Edition, uni-Robot Ltd., Czech Republic.
1. Introduction - PhotoRobot Terms of Service
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the PhotoRobot Controls Cloud and related online services provided by uni-Robot Ltd., Vodičkova 710/31, 110 00 Prague 1, Czech Republic, Company ID: 01478061, VAT ID: CZ01478061 (“PhotoRobot, we, us, our”).
By creating a PhotoRobot Account, accessing the PhotoRobot Controls Cloud, or using any part of the service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Service.
These Terms form a legally binding agreement between you (“Customer, User, you”) and PhotoRobot.
2. Definitions
For the purpose of these Terms:
- Account – a user account created on the PhotoRobot Cloud.
- Billing Date – the recurring monthly date on which fees are charged.
- Customer Data – all digital content uploaded or generated by you through the Service.
- PhotoRobot Robots – physical robotic devices manufactured by uni-Robot Ltd., including TurnTable, Cube, Robotic Arm, Frame, Carousel and other mechanical modules.
- Controls Cloud – PhotoRobot’s cloud-based software platform accessible at https://cloud.photorobot.com / https://cloud2.photorobot.com.
- Controls Local (CL) – the locally installed desktop application requiring a software key.
- Cloud 2.0 – an optional cloud extension for CL.
- Service – collectively Controls Cloud, Cloud 2.0, APIs, cloud storage, and any associated web interfaces.
- Subscription Plan – the specific plan and pricing under which the Service is provided.
- Authorized User – any person permitted by the Customer to access the Service.
- Documentation – all user guides, manuals, and online help resources.

3. Eligibility & Account Registration
3.1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction, to use the Service.
3.2. Account Creation
To access the Service, you must create an Account by providing accurate and complete registration information.
3.3. Account Owner
The person or entity that creates the Account is the Account Owner, responsible for:
- billing
- security of login credentials
- permissions granted to Authorized Users
- compliance with these Terms
3.4. Account Security
You must not share login credentials with unauthorized persons.
You are responsible for all activities under your Account.
3.5. Account Communication
You agree to receive essential communications electronically, including:
- billing confirmations
- security notices
- policy updates
(Non-essential marketing requires separate consent.)
4. Subscription, Pricing & Billing
4.1. Subscription Model
The Service is provided on a recurring, month-to-month subscription basis unless agreed otherwise.
4.2. Free Trial
New users may be granted a free trial period, limited by watermark. Abuse of free trials may lead to termination.
4.3. Billing & Payments
Fees are charged monthly on the Billing Date to the selected payment method.
4.4. Taxes & VAT
Prices exclude VAT unless explicitly stated.
Customer is responsible for all applicable taxes.
4.5. Failed Payments
If payment cannot be processed:
- Your access may be suspended.
- Data may be deleted after 30 days of non-payment.
4.6. Price Changes
PhotoRobot may update pricing with at least 30 days’ notice.
5. Use of the Service
5.1. Authorized Use
You may use the Service solely for lawful business purposes and in accordance with these Terms.
5.2. Restrictions
You may not:
- copy, modify, or reverse engineer the Service
- circumvent security mechanisms
- upload malware or harmful content
- use the Service for unlawful purposes
- overload the Service via abusive automation or excessive API usage
5.3. Customer Responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- the accuracy of Customer Data
- maintaining backup copies of Customer Data (although PhotoRobot maintains redundant backups, this is not a guaranteed archival service)
- ensuring all Authorized Users comply with these Terms
5.4. Service Modifications
We may update or modify the Service at any time to improve performance, security, or functionality.
6. Customer Data
6.1. Ownership
Customer retains all rights to Customer Data.
6.2. License to operate the Service
You grant PhotoRobot a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive license to process, store, transmit, and display Customer Data for the sole purpose of providing the Service.
6.3. Data Deletion
Upon termination or cancellation:
- data remains accessible for 30 days
- after 30 days, data is permanently deleted and cannot be restored
6.4. Data Protection
Processing of personal data is governed by:
- our Privacy Policy,
- our GDPR Privacy Notice,
- and (where applicable) the Data Processing Agreement (DPA).
7. Intellectual Property
7.1. PhotoRobot IP
All intellectual property in the Service, software, firmware, designs, robots, algorithms, and documentation remains the property of uni-Robot Ltd.
7.2. No Transfer of Rights
Nothing in these Terms transfers any ownership rights to the Customer.
7.3. Feedback
If you provide suggestions or ideas, PhotoRobot may use them freely without obligation.
8. Service Availability
8.1. Reasonable Availability
PhotoRobot aims to maintain high availability but does not guarantee uninterrupted access unless specified in a separate SLA.
8.2. Maintenance Windows
Scheduled maintenance may cause temporary unavailability.
Where feasible, customers will be notified in advance.
8.3. Third-Party Platforms
The Service relies on third-party infrastructure (e.g., Google Cloud).
Service disruptions outside our control are not considered breaches.
9. Term, Suspension & Termination
9.1. Term
These Terms remain in effect until the Account is terminated.
9.2. Suspension
We may suspend access if:
- payment fails
- illegal or abusive activity is detected
- security concerns arise
9.3. Termination by Customer
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Account settings.
9.4. Termination by PhotoRobot
We may terminate immediately if you violate these Terms.
9.5. Effect of Termination
Upon termination:
- access is revoked at the end of billing period
- Customer Data is deleted after 30 days
- no refunds are provided for partial months
10. Disclaimers & Limitations of Liability
10.1. No Warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind.
10.2. Limitation of Liability
PhotoRobot’s total liability is limited to the amount paid by Customer in the preceding 12 months.
10.3. Excluded Damages
PhotoRobot is not liable for:
- lost profits
- lost data
- indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
11. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic.
All disputes shall be resolved exclusively by the competent courts in Prague, Czech Republic.
12. Changes to Terms
PhotoRobot may revise these Terms at any time.
You will be notified at least 30 days before changes take effect.
Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
